When you create an account we collect your email address, username, optional display name and avatar, birth year, and gender selection. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic account information those providers share. When you buy Premium, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Duel and referral invites use Holdout links and invite codes. We store the inviter, referred account, qualification state, and rewards needed to operate the referral program and prevent abuse. If you choose contacts access, contact names and phone numbers are read on your device only to open your messaging app; Holdout does not upload your address book. If you allow notifications, Holdout stores a push token to send duel, social, support, and account lifecycle updates, and may also schedule reminders locally on your device. The app uses your language, theme, and communication preferences to render the interface and deliver the messages you enable. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently removes your profile, duels, check-ins, and photos. HOLDOUT is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect personal data from, anyone under 13 years of age. Users must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in their country, whichever is higher) to create an account or use the Service. During onboarding, users are asked to confirm their age; accounts that appear to belong to users under 13 will be suspended and any personal data deleted. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@holdout.hamitcf.info - we will promptly delete the information and terminate the account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and review our practices regularly.
